Events must be open to the public, with or without admission fees. Historic Hudson River Towns reserves the right to reject any event that is considered inappropriate for any reason. Please allow up to 24 hours after submission for event to be listed.

One of Lyndhurst’s most popular family programs returns this spring to once again bring fun, dynamic activities to kids interested in architecture, engineering, and design. The weekend’s events include the interactive creation of a 3D village using recycled materials, massive LEGO® sculptures, robotics battles, scavenger hunts along Lyndhurst’s historic property, crafts, food, and entertainment. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is just $8 for kids and $10 for adults and tickets are available for purchase online before the event and at the Welcome Center on the day of. Lyndhurst is teaming up with ArchForKids, a local organization that provides exciting, interdisciplinary programming to teach children engineering principles with hands-on projects.

10th Annual Rotary Rubber Duck Derby

Tarrytown Rotary Rubber Duck Derby & YMCA Healthy Kids Day event draws thousands of families to enjoy a day at Patriot's Park. Rubber Ducks can be adopted at www.tarrytownrotary.org The Rubber Ducks are raced on the event day (rain or shine) in 6 heats. The winner of each heat is raced in the final heat for the Grand Prize of $1500. You don't need to be present to win. Between races, enjoy food, music, demonstrations, vendors, bouncy castles. Taste of Korea: Korean Cuisine Full of Wisdom and Nature

The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will demonstrate 4 traditional Korean dishes: Kimchi Salad, Rice with Mixed Vegetables (Bibimbap), Soy Sauce and Honey Marinated Beef (Bulgogi) and Braised Soybean (Dubu Jorim) - which afterwards will be served to all participants. Recipes and materials on Korean history and culture will be available for handout. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED - please call the Library to reserve your spot.

Science Barge Opening

This joyous rite of spring brings together elected officials, civic groups, and 200-300 residents from throughout the region for a full day of family fun.
