Summertime on the river is a wondrous thing! You haven't really felt the majesty or the power of the Hudson until you have been out on it in some kind of watercraft. The other day we were sitting by the river at Garrison admiring the view of West Point across the way. As we surveyed the scene, a tugboat pushed a huge barge northward, a family came by in kayacks, sail boats drifted along on the breeze, and power boats docked at the marina. For cruise boat opportunities, check out the River Cruises page under Things to Do on our website, www.hudsonriver.com. It's a great way to cool off and enjoy the passing scenery.
