Organizations in Historic Hudson River Towns member communities are welcome to post events here free of charge. Events must be open to the public, with or without admission fees. Historic Hudson River Towns reserves the right to reject any event that is considered inappropriate for any reason. Please allow up to 24 hours after submission for event to be listed.

June Latin Lounge with Cocomama Wednesday June 21st shows at 6pm and 8pm

Presented by Mz. Valentine, June’s Latin Lounge will showcase COCOMAMA!
A virtual United Nations of women, members of Cocomama hail from around the
globe gathering their influences from far and wide. Salsa, soul, R&B,
Afro-Cuban and Latin jazz are among the items on the menu whenever they hit
the stage creating a sound that is all at once fierce and beautiful!
Cocomama has enchanted audiences at the United Nations, Central Park, the
Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York
City Marathon, Joe’s Pub, Studio 54, the Cape May Jazz Festival, the
Montclair Jazz Festival, the Northhampton Jazz Festival, the New Jersey
Performing Arts Center, the Spoleto Music Festival, the Michigan’s Women’s
Festival and have served as musical ambassadors for the US State Department
in Latin America.

We have two dinner seatings upstairs with the concert:
Doors open at 5pm first come first served
6pm (arrive by 5:30) and 8pm (arrive by 7:30)
Please arrive promptly. Seating is first come first served. Roost will be
offering a delicious seasonal menu with the concert ($25 minimum per person
at tables)
We recommend purchasing tickets at least 48 hours in advance.
Entrance to the concert is through the door on the LEFT
NOTE: Concerts take place on the second floor. Roost and Union Arts Center
are located in a one-hundred-year-old restored firehouse without an
elevator.
