Donald “Doc” Bayne
will present an illustrated talk on the historic iron furnaces that were located within Sterling Forest and Harriman State Parks at the time of the American Revolution. He’ll cover the production, manufacture, and use of this local iron and explain how this industry helped the Hudson Valley flourish during the 18th century
