Organizations in Historic Hudson River Towns member communities are welcome to post events here free of charge. Events must be open to the public, with or without admission fees. Historic Hudson River Towns reserves the right to reject any event that is considered inappropriate for any reason. Please allow up to 24 hours after submission for event to be listed.

Hook Mountain State Park Guided Hike with Long Path Outfitters and West Mountain Guide Co.

Join Long Path Outfitters and West Mountain Guide Co. for a guided hike in Hook Mountain State Park. This 5.6 mile hike combines a mix of rugged trail and paved path and features interesting geology, beaches, forests and of our favorite view points in the Hudson Valley.
Hikers are invited back to Long Path Outfitters after the completion of the hike for exclusive in-store discounts and a Long Path Outfitters Travel Mug to celebrate the start of our guided hiking program!

About your guides: Lauren & Henri de la Vega are long distance backpackers, New York State Licensed Guides, and founders of West Mountain Guide Co. LLC. Together, they have backpacked the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and the Continental Divide Trail, with Henri also completing the Florida Trail. The combined 16,000+ miles of thru-hiking they’ve experienced has fueled their desire to help others experience the backcountry.
