Known as one of the most innovative and inspiring contemporary jazz trumpeters, Grammy-nominee Jon Faddis’s career — like his mentor Dizzy Gillespie – has been marked by both intense integrity and great humor.
Whether leading his own quartet, conducting a celebrated orchestra or teaching at a prestigious college, he is the consummate musician. His distinctive trumpet appears on hundreds of records and numerous soundtracks for film and television. Dizzy called him “the best ever, including me!”
