Site Interpreter Joanne Stein-Kohler has studied the Jewish experience in America in the years leading up to and after the American War for Independence, through the lens of Rebecca Franks, the “Jewish Belle” of Philadelphia that married the captured commander of the British forces here at Stony Point.
