Town of Ossining – Louis Engel Waterfront Park
Louis Engel Waterfront Park (named after the village trustee and town supervisor), superb views of the Hudson, paved paths, benches, picnic tables and grills, a playground with splash pad, fishing piers, and a performance stage. The stage hosts the popular Ossinng RiverJam in summer and early fall.
There’s a beach where you can launch kayaks, canoes or stand-up paddle boards (sorry, swimming is not permitted), along with a storage rack installed by Hudson River Greenway that welcomes your non-overnight storage.
To use the public loading ramp requires a permit you can get from the Town Clerk or the adjacent Ossining Boat and Canoe Club. There is a parking along the park but note the signs for regulations and meters.
